My 6 year-old daughter and I read a couple of books most nights. One night, we read only this as it provided the opportunity to talk about the things we have and what we need. I genuinely liked the message of this wholesome children’s book. The pictures are delightful and my daughter loved the princess as much as I respected the parent’s decision to keep her Christmas presents to three one year. I'm so happy I found this even though I have no idea where I found it! Book Page? Good Reads? Who knows! But it's thrilling to find such an awesome book!
I loved this more than Julia but I guess that's to be expected and don't be confused - she liked it as well, but I loved it.
I loved each of the messages, some smaller, some large and I loved, loved, loved how the little princess, in the beginning, is so relatable to most young girls. Most of the children I know are
My mom gave this book to my two year old daughter for Christmas, but my boys have all read it, too. I heard my 8 year old son telling my sisters that he liked that this story was about the true meaning of Christmas, it's about giving, rather than getting. Neat!
