StarCraft: Uprising is a 100-page novella that tells the story of Sarah Kerrigan, a Confederate ghost operative, who is liberated from her captivity and neural reconditioning at a Terran science facility by Arcturus Mengsk's rebel group known as the Sons of Korhal. Best if read: before or right after Episode I of Starcraft.

Chronologically this all takes place before Episode I, but it wouldn't be terrible to read it after.

This book is one of the best starcraft novels. The storyline is fluctuating, making me nervous, and the ending is good, eventhough it is predictable.

This book dwells into Sarah Kerrigan recruitment by Acturus Mengsk and how he successful overthrow the Confederacy with his schemes. Is a must read if you follow Kerrigan's story.
