Meanwhile, Claire got everything she wants -- new camo Converse high-tops, bag and bags of gummies, and best of all, her first ever cell phone, from Massie. Although Claire's now an officia ...more

The Clique Gone Wild...
Massie Block: The girls of Octavian Day Country pack up their warmest cashmere coats and their tiniest iPods and board the bus for a President's Day class trip to Lake Placid. But bears aren't the only scary thing out in those woods. The Briarwood Boys are staying in a cabin just a few yards away, which meansthe girls in Massie's Underground Clinic for Kissing (M.U.C.K) might have to find the guts to put their money where their well-glossed mouthes are.

This was a fun book with a L-O-T of drama. See my book review from below:

DRAMA! When Octavian Country Day (OCD) school goes on a class trip, each member of the Pretty Committee (PC), the coolest girls at OCD, has a secret or some personal drama. Massie, the PC's head alpha, lied about having kissing experience to hold a kissing clinic to raise money for her friend, Kristen, a member of the PC; no one except the PC knows Kristen's family couldn't afford the school's trip fees. Will the girls of t

I enjoyed this book. It was very girly, cute and fun! I liked the idea of how the girls go on the trip with the guys!

At the beginning of the book, I was a little confused with the Pretty Committee’s relationship with Claire. They were treating her like a friend but they seemed weird about it. They seemed kind of shaky and like they didn’t open of the door to their clique fully, so to say. Why were they treating her that way? I thought they were cool.

I know that Massie loves her friends; I learne

After Alicia’s sassy cousin Nina, who stole everyone’s heart, was proven for the devious thief she really was, Massie expected all to adore her once again. Yet, she overhears some of her fans planning to get in touch with Nina for some boy advice. Massie can’t have her admirers thinking she hasn’t any experience with boys, so she starts “Massie’s Underground Clinic for Kissing (M.U.C.K.) even though she’s never kissed a boy herself. I like this book because how Dylan,Alicia, and Massie want to pay for the trip but Kristen wouldn't let them. It's time to leave for the trip. And Dylan's mom is coming. This was the time for Dylan to get the guy that she wanted. Massie is teaching girls how to kiss. But some of the girls are going overboard about it. Claire helps Massie with kissing only if Massie helps Claire get Cam back. Massie helps Claire get Cam back. By dressing Claire up in Kristen's soccer clothes. Claire sneaks in the ...more

Kristin is poor now, what a good it's not.

My favorite PC member is Claire. She's smart, sweet, and beautiful. Massie is next, she's clever, definitely, and she COULD be sweet if she WANTS to. But she's mean...Alicia is good, pretty girl, with an evil heart. Dylan, Kristin, I dunno them much.

Massie, you don't HAVE to pretend to be a great lip-kissing master. You are like, what, only 12? It DOESN'T matter? You know what'll really earn you respect from people? Knowledge. Yeah, that's r

This book is awesome! I think it's one of the best "Clique" books written! The main characters in this book are Massie, Claire, Kristen, Dylan, and Alicia. They all go to the same school, and their school is going to go on a camping trip with another school(Massie's school is all girls, the other school is all boys). Once they get there, though, they realize 3 days with boys can have pros and cons. To find out what happens on the trip, you need to read The Pretty Committee Strikes Back by Lisi H ...more

If you'd like girly, dramatic read, this is the book for you! It is chock full of sassiness, backstabbing, and deciet. In my opinion, it was a little too immature for my taste but it made for an easy read. Also, this book is supposed to be relatable to highschool life but these made up clubs like "pc" (pretty committee) and M.U.C.K. (Massie's Underground Clinic for Kissing), were a little too unbelivable. This book starts off with Massie, Kristen, Dylan, Alicia, Claire and the Octavian Country S ...more

PLOT: The Pretty Committee take a nature field trip. Only Kristen can't afford the cost. Claire is still obsessing over the fall-out and break up from kissing Josh in the last book and wanting Cam back. Layne starts her period but it ashamed of it and tries to keep it hidden. While Massie tries to win her popularity back from Nina by holding a kissing clinic. Things continue to go wrong on the trip. Dylan's mom show's up and Alicia wonders who Josh could be more

In the book, the girls were going to a trip with the school. They had a meeting on what to pack and bring. On the trip, the girls run off trail and get into a lot of trouble.
The book had well developed characters and well developed scenes. What makes this different than the Gossip Girl series is that this tries to develop the scenes more. That way even though you can't relate to them you can imagine what they're going through which is really the main point.
The reason this book gets a three is

The book The Pretty Committee Strikes Back is another book in the drama filled Clique series. In this book the girls go on a school field trip to a camping site. But for this trip they are going there with Briarwood Academy which creates so much more drama. In the last book Nina took all of their friends and Massie is determined to gain them back. She creates a secret club to get her friends back which turns out to be a big slap in the face. Just like in all of the books tons of drama filled eve ...more

The book, "The Pretty Committe Strikes Back", I found it one of the better books so far out fo The Clique series. I recommend to read from the begining on because otherwise you won't get the story. Massie is basically well she is a main character. She is the popular one and the one that controls everything. Although she can be nice I prefer Claire myself.

The Pretty Committee Strikes Back by Lisi Harrison this book is intended for ages 12 and up the main issue to me of this book addresses is Massie and her M.U.C.K girls. And when Massie is at camp with Derrington and they fight or Clair and Alicia fight. the setting for this book I think is essencial for the story because if they were in a swamp lets say I know Massie would be an absolute mess. So since they are at a camp it was helpful with them getting lost and becoming friends again, aslo with ...more
Essentially, the girls and the guys get sent on a 3-day class trip into the middle of the wilderness, with no parents and very little supervision. Then the romance heats up (in the 7th-grader way).

I LOVED IT!!! Such a cute lil read about first crushes, new romance, and popularity :)

I just love how there's a different drama in every book. It wasn't repetitive, prosaic or dull. There's drama in every page. You'd just love how these girls get themselves in troubles and learning throughout the way. (Hopefully!)

Now, on the book!

So this book starts off with three-day trip to Lake Placid with the Briarwood Boys and OCD girls. The last

This book is about a group of girlie girls who go onto a school trip. They each have someone who they like and who they hope they can flirt with during the trip. But little do they know that it will not be that easy. The teacher will be making sure that they do their work, and that they stay away from boys. But each girl still seems to have some sort of drama whether it be boy of family or friend.

The book opens with Massie and the rest of the Pretty Committee in geography class at OCD. Mr. Myner, the eccentric teacher, is blabbering on about topography, a topic that captures the interests of few. Massie zones out, and starts thinking about Derrick Harrington, the alpha and popular star goalie for the Tomahawks, the Briarwood Academy soccer team. But when Mr. Myners mentions the upcoming trip to Lake Placid, everyone's attention is now in his hands. Despite his attempts to say that they w ...more

In this book, the Pretty Committee goes to Lake Placid for an overnight field trip and Dylan has just lost a couple of pounds after a bad bout of the flu. To prepare, Massie Block opens up MUCK which stands for Massie's Underground Clinic for Kissing.
