I really liked this book. It is a beautiful book, a real treat to look through with its lavish photographs and great sense of fun, and it contains a wide variety of cupcake and icing recipes. It also contains a handful of basic full sized cake recipes. If I were to have one minor complaint it would be that, lovelly as the recipes are, they tend to be fairly basic and traditional - there is not much in terms of wild and eccentric.
