I really liked this book. It is a beautiful book, a real treat to look through with its lavish photographs and great sense of fun, and it contains a wide variety of cupcake and icing recipes. It also contains a handful of basic full sized cake recipes. If I were to have one minor complaint it would be that, lovelly as the recipes are, they tend to be fairly basic and traditional - there is not much in terms of wild and eccentric. Also, perhaps a small section on basic home made decorations would...more

Fantastic easy to follow recipes. Ginger cupcakes work especially well with lime frosting. Coffee walnut cake a winner too

All the recipes had great directions to follow, and most importantly, there were tons of pictures!!
Love this recipe book and use it often. The red velvet cupcakes are a favourite.
Excellent book. Probably one of the best cake books out there.
