This is a beautifully rendered take on the age old Humpty Dumpty story but with a twist that is sure to touch your heart as well as the heart of a child. The bright vivid fun images of Mark Pendergrass goes along perfectly with the whimsical tale. The Daubenspecks do a fabulous job of using words sparingly with a large impact. The meter is perfect: "But Humpty Dumpty prayed a great thing. He humbly asked, 'May I see the king?' "
