The recipes are a bit heavy on eggs and dairy, and not Food Network Adventurous; overall, the cookbook isn't good for those with allergies or cholesterol restrictions, much less the Haute Gourmet Snooty Diners...but for the rest of us this is ideal. Most recipes' preparation is straightforward, and the ingredient lists simple enough that they can be found in the majority of communities.

This book is chock-full of breakfast/brunch recipes. My husband really likes pancakes and waffles, but I gravitate more toward omelets, frittatas, and quiches. This book covers all of those and more. I can't wait to try out some new recipes.
