I find myself wanting to rate this book between "okay" and "I liked it". There were a few good thought provoking questions in each section, which I liked being challenged by. However, the other questions in each section were fairly straight forward and simple. I did enjoy the author's historical insight in some of the sections of the gospel of Matthew, which helped me understand more the context of that particular scripture. This book would also probably make a good group study book as well. I w ...more
NT Wright is a beast, and this is a great book for groups, though I suspect at times he has some other folks writing for him.
This is a great series that I am using in my Quiet Times. I'm almost through with Matthew.
