A short story about Proposition 8 and fight for marriage equality and the importance to stand up for what you believe in !

“I guess what I’m trying to say is that I know I’ve been a moody shit lately. This is the first time in a while that I’ve felt personally attacked and rejected for what I am. It makes me feel helpless, and I hate that. I mean, I haven’t felt this low about myself since I was in junior high. I thought I was all over that. Paul and Leo are quite happy together and in a committed relationship, but when Proposition 8 passes in California, Paul is driven to protest by being loud and proud while Leo wants to take a decidedly more quiet approach to protesting.
