Corpses and Canyons was an exciting page turner by Don Yarber. Rarely, do I have the time to sit down and read a book from cover to cover in one evening. This book was the second in the “Kip Yardley Mystery” series. I was a bit nervous about reading a second book in a series, because I had not read the first, but as soon as I had started to read it, it did not matter. This was the 1st time I have read a "Kip Yardley Mystery" & I must say it was very exciting & good! Kip is an LA PI who receives a phone call from his friend Jeremy, who lives out in Arizona. It seems that one of Jeremy's friends and co-workers was found dead and Jeremy wants Kip to look into it. This deceased friend of Jeremy's was a road surveyor, & while Kip is investigating the background of the deceased, someone runs Kip off the road. Leaving him for dead.
