I was a bit put off by the very real-looking tongue on this book's cover when my children asked me to buy it. But when I browsed inside, I realised how instructive and complete it is, while at the same time being fun to explore for children. A whole voyage into the digestive system - from taste buds to the end, including where the waste goes after it is disposed of! I learned lots of things myself that I didn't know or had forgotten.
