Julian Rodriguez, first officer, disguised as an 8 year old boy, reports to the Mothership on the bizarre behaviour of Earthlings during festivites.
This is a combination of a graphic novel and an easy chapter book. I found the story clever and very funny. The graphics were not as good as the first book. Although the concept is great for the intended age reader, I am wondering if the vocabulary is too difficult, "unhygenic, breached, subterranran containment facility",etc.

i just read a alexander Stadler book called julian Rodriguez it was funny and cool it is easy to read and awesome. he always sends notes to the mother ship and he really likes this one food called empanadas and he really thinks his relatives are crazy. and i guess he is suppose to be an alien i don't really know it didn't tell but the way he is calling his mother ship i guess he is. this book is a really good book and i think you should try it

Fans of Diary of a Wimpy Kid (particularly fans in elementary school) should meet Julian Rodriquez; just as funny but without the cringing.
