Both the illustration and story are so good. Despite the simplicity of the black and white illustration, I was drawn to the story about the migration of the shadow. Such imaginative yet a simple story to begin with. I really like the concept (simple, black and white) that Gagne is going for this book. Not much I can tell to spoil the story for you except that it's an AWESOME children's book one should buy!

I came across this when Gagne was signing at a comic shop in Santa Monica. Great illustrations, and great stories. This book would be great to read aloud to children and still enjoy it at the same time.
