These stories took me through all the seasons, and helped me to see the beauty and the love that is in our world. JoLynne has given us a story that shows the magick that lives in all of our lives, and how we can find it, and stories to encourage us to go back to them time and again. I personally can't wait for my next trip to Italy... ;-)

JoLynne Valerie writes stories that steal your heart away and leave you knowing that character and their life. The added bonuses at the end of each story are the book version of Easter eggs within a video game and are usable in every day life. I would have absolutely no problem with recommending this book to my friends - but they can get their own copy because I refuse to lend out mine.

So, here's the good: the short stories here are all really good stories! Very sweet, filled with magic and synchronicity. Well-rounded characters, well-thought-out storylines... just an enjoyable read, overall. Four short stories, each set during a season and close to or ON the date of a Solstice/Equinox. Each story has elements of magic, paranormal, and even better, FOOD! JoLynne includes recipes at the end of each story for the food that's discussed in each story ~ a bonus that is delicious an ...more

I was introduced to this author online and ordered my copy of A Tale For All Seasons shortly thereafter. What a marvelous read it is.

Ms. Valerie has created four marvelous stories, each of them unique and vibrant with characters, drama, excitement and metaphysical events. My intention was to read each of the four stories in the order they are featured in the book, but when I finished the spring tale, I found myself skipping ahead to the autumn tale as we were then coming full swing into fall.
