I won this book in a First Reads giveaway, and while I had initially expected it to be good, it completely exceeded my expectations! I really enjoyed the collection of poems. They were extremely well written, in a way that truly touched my heart. I'll be eagerly awaiting your next book!

"Columbus Groove" by Brandice Schnabel was the first book I won through a Goodreads giveaway, and I have to say that for a collection of poems that revolve around various frames, it's excellently written. The collection showcases poems that deal with instability, connectivity, sadness, and reveled joy in relationships and life.

The collection of poems is divided into three sections: "Lost at Sea", "Searching for Shore" and "On Dry Land". "...more

I received Columbus Groove from giveaways and would definitely recommend it. I thought it looked interesting when I entered but these poems have exceeded my expectations. The mix of serious, light-hearted, and romantic poems really captured my interest.Columbus Grove has relate-able poems similar to feeling we all have.

Schnabel's poetry is real and evocative. The stages of love and growth framing her words is relatable and sometimes heart-wrenching. Through her verse she shares a personal story of movement and through all, thriving life.

THis is a collection of poems about a girl looking for love. Not really my cup of tea, but the poems were pretty good. Thanks for the free copy Goodreads!

Thank you Brandice! Wow. You touched my heart and soul with your spirit, your emotions and your words. What a gift to share so clearly and deeply without being wordy. Each poem had a life and freshness within it. I will be waiting for your next book with enthusiasm!

Absolutely beautiful collection of poems by my friend and co-worker Brandice. My only complaint is that it is too short - looking forward to many more collections of poetry from this gifted writer!
