history, intellectual history, history of religions, cultural anthropology are blending together very nicely. an excellent primer on world religions. Intellectual history is remarkably developed, Lenoir sits along G. Lipovesky, L. Dumont, M. Gauchet, great French thinkers of the eighties, and has a solid background in the founders of sociology and anthropology.
