An excellent read. What James Dickey brought to the novel, Robert Earl Stewart (a short story writer and novelist) brings to poetry. Concrete images, wonderful turns of phrase, some flat-out hilarious observations about life. It's a thoroughly enjoyable read.

I may be biased because Bob is my cousin, but I love his poetry, especially the ones he wrote about my aunt and his family. His writing is beautiful, and I can't wait for the next book!
