106 pgs. Not having read the earlier books in the series, I'm at a disadvantage in reviewing this. This is a spy series where a nine year old boy is recruited by the GPF (Global Protection Force) to battle the world's most dangerous villains while searching for his missing older brother (who also works for them, but he doesn't know yet). This is the second book of this series that I have read to my 5-year-old son. (We read it out of order.)
He is just learning to read and seemed to enjoy the book. However, I know he doesn't fully understand everything that happened. Plus, it took us quite a while to read it and I'm sure he forgot most of the beginning.

I enjoyed reading the first book in this series to him, but this one was very preachy to me. It's about a more serious topic than a younger child would really know about. Global war
