For a long time I struggled with self doubt. I honestly thought that I wasn't as good as anyone else and that everything I thought, was stupid. This kind of thinking is not only harmful to you but it can actually cause your life to become miserable. I thought that I didn't deserve anything good and that led me on a downward path that just kept taking me lower and lower. This book is a four-step program that eliminates doubt and helps you to achieve lifelong self-esteem. Step 1: Label it, Step 2: Question it, Step 3: Rethink it, Step 4: Take Action. I found this book very helpful, I will be continuing to read about Self-Esteem because I enjoy seeing new ways to work through my issues. Excellent way to improve confidence.

This book took me years to get through, which is a pretty clear indicator of my enjoyment of it. There are definitely some great ideas here, but the writing is repetitive to the point that words stop making sense. It felt like reading a self-help seminar. I also felt like some of the advice was just...bad. Overcoming doubt seems to be dependent upon having concrete evidence to the contrary, but what if you can't list tons of concrete evidence like the examples in the book conveniently could?
