Dr. David Jeremiah writes as he speaks, and that is very well.
Simple.
Down to earth.
Biblical.
Caring.
Interesting.
These are all descriptive of Dr. Jeremiah's writing in this book.
Dr. Jeremiah recognizes that we are in very troublesome times. He acknowledges our fears and concerns. He then takes the Bible and recommends that we embrace the truths that the Bible gives us about how to live in these times.
Among the things that Dr. Jeremiah teaches us a More...

Living with Confidence is living in Christ and what he has done. David Jeremiah is very conversational in his short book always bringing you back to Christ. He shares about how we can be compassionate during these difficult times. I liked on page 32 how he writes...Compassion is hard because it requires the inner disposition to go with others to the place where they are weak, vulnerable, lonely, and broken. We like to run from suffering. Jesus embraced suffering because it brought glory to More...

Dr. Jeremiah reminds us that even during today’s uncertain, chaotic times, God has promised to always be here for us. We need to find comfort in trusting Him and His plan for us. He explains that we need to remain calm, compassionate, constructive, challenged, connected, centered, confident, consistent, committed, and convinced in our daily lives.

For each characteristic that he tells us to practice, he explains how and why through stories and lots of Scriptural quotations. Dr. Jerem More...

Dr. David Jeremiah reminds Christians of the importance of being grounding in a thorough knowledge and application of the Bible.

This quick-paced book is divided into the following ten chapters:

1. Stay Calm
2. Stay Compassionate
3. Stay Constructive
4. Stay Challenged
5. Stay Connected
6. Stay Centered
7. Stay Confident
8. Stay Consistent
9. Stay Committed
10. Stay Convinced

If you follow Dr. Jeremiah's other ministries regularly, this book will not add a great deal of new insight. However, it is a concis More...

Dr. David Jeremiah is the senior pastor of Shadow Mountain Community Church in El Cajon, California. He is the author of several best-selling books and internationally broadcasts Turning Point, a radio and television Bible-teaching program.

Living with Confidence in a Chaotic World is Dr. Jeremiah’s follow-up to What In the World is Going On?, a previous book he authored which Joel Rosenberg describes as “A clear, compelling primer on God’s heart for Israel and the dramatic Bible prophecies that More...

I first read Dr Jeremiah's books because my Bible Study group at church was covering them. One of the ladies used to attend his church in California, had heard him speak many times, and recommended his books. We did the study for What in the World Is Going On? which I enjoyed, therefore I jumped at the chance to read and review the follow-up.

I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting the suggestions Dr Jeremiah gives as to how we should live with confidence in this time of social and economi More...

The sixth book I was provided to review through the Book Sneeze program LIVING WITH CONFIDENCE IN A CHAOTIC WORLD by Dr. David Jeremiah. This book was not at all what I was expecting and, therefore, was very hard to get into and process. I am sure this is a great book for people interested in reading about "the end times" but I am not one of those people...

The chapters are each titled as a command or a direction to the reader: Stay Calm, Stay Confident, Stay Connected, etc. More...

I read the real book - but like someone else said, this was the only one listed. This is a wonderful book and I was anxious to recommend it to you all!

Read the actual book, not the "participant's guide" - only one listed. Anyhow, bottom line - immerse yourself in God & hang on. Never know what tomorrow will bring.
