Kevin
A fair treatment of the cognitive side of anxiety disorders, but as is par for the course, pays little attention to the biological and genetic side of anxiety.

The first chapter of this book put my anxiety disorder in a completely different framework for me and basically cured me.

Especially illuminating are the chapters explaining the agoraphobic syndrome, acrophobia, and panic disorder.

A very detailed book, but great for both the layperson and the professional. This book covers all of the anxiety disorders and give many treatment options. There are several good examples that will help the reader connect to his or her issue/diagnosis.
