It was difficult for me to rate this book. Honestly, it's agood book. Lisa Dale really has a beautiful writing. The way the story was told was original and very emotional. Eli, the main character, was amazing. A solid beta hero with just a hint of caveman attitude... the best ;-).
He really was perfect, both in and out. Heck, every woman should have an Eli in her life !

I don't usually read the softer romance; softer being the lovey dovey baby kind of romance, so I wasn't one hundred percent sure what rating to give this book. My Thoughts

Complicated family relationships entangled with an even more complicated love interest kept me reading to see how Lana would resolve her mostly self-imposed problems. This book is definitely character driven, and while romance is not the focal issue, it’s an important part of the whole.

I received this book for review and didn’t know a thing about it. For some reason, I thought it was a historical romance, maybe because of the font on the cover. I received a copy of this book through FirstReads. The characters really seemed real which made me sympathize with them; their feelings, thoughts, and actions could have happened in my town. Thanks to Martha's Review for giving me this book. As I'm not usually a reader of romance, I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy the book.
