I have read Nathan the Caveman three different times (when I was happy, when I was sad & angry and when I was tired). Just to make sure if it had the same effect no matter which way the moods swung. And fellow readers I must say it is a clear winner from my experiment. The story graphics is enjoyable. The way it is passionately written and drawn. Other than basically being the best graphic novel I have ever had the pleasure of reading, this book leaves nothing to be desired-except maybe more graphic novels to come. My message to Ben Bishop, start producing more of these illustrated literary masterpieces!

Two parallel story lines present themselves in this, Bishops first widely published work, which is no easy feat for a novel, graphic or otherwise. Beautiful artwork and great writing. Couldn't put it down and finished it in one sitting. Definitely worth looking for and an awesome read.

An above-average debut graphic novel, less about the titular caveman than about the pain and pleasure of moving through life. Worth a look.
