I enjoyed it! I was able to follow it, but I have that type of mind. It was really interesting and quick :) And so strange :D It was defiantly a Briana book. It makes me less mad at Pete Wentz for starting a new project which is how I found this book in the first place. I had just joined the facebook group "FALL OUT BOY SHOULD GET BACK TOGETHER (https://www.facebook.com/group.php?gi...)" and there were many comments pertaining to Pete's new project. So I went to the only source I could poss...more

I got this book years ago, when I was around thirteen years of age. It was a perfect story for a kid going into high school, growing up and being unsure of the world around them. I was going through a lot of problems and this book really helped me out. Wentz is a wonderful writer, in all honesty and not from a biased point of view. He spits out these ridiculous metaphors that mean a thousand things all in one. The novella is very simple, easy to follow but there is depth. You can easily find out...more

what i liked about Wentz' book was that it was very metaphorical. certain sentences were along with the story in a whole. But not only was it metaphorical but he didnt use metaphors the way we all know them, he twisted them around to mean something else. literature wise this book isnt the best but i was fun to read and i would recomend a writer to read it not because it is a masterpiece but because it shows you different ways to word things that get your meaning across by being anti-cliche. but...more

"This is the story of a lull...read it like a crime scene report or an autopsy, because that's all it ever was."
Before i being my review i would like to say: I FINALLY GOT THIS AFTER A GOOD 4-5 YEAR WAIT. I wasn't going to buy it on Amazon or Ebay but then Clandestine Industries FINALLY put it up for sale. And let me just say, it was worth the wait.
This book made me think quite a lot. It's not an ordinary book where it just tells you the story and THE END. This y'gotta dig deep to understand thi...more

I liked this book a lot, it made me forget everything around me :)
However, I don't recommend buying it. It was such a quick read that I don't think you should waste money on it. If you want to read it, here's a link I found:

The chapters/parts are in order on the left side :)

This was a very short read, took me about 15-20 minutes, I only really read it because I've wanted to for a while. It was very skippy, but I liked that because it added to the feel of the fucked up nightmare dreamland the book talks about. It wasnt very hard to read either which was good for me.

I love Fall Out Boy and Pete Wentz. When I was about 14 I wanted to read this and never did. Honestly I'm glad I didn't read it until now (I'm 20 now) because it's really beautiful and I probably wouldn't have been able to appreciate it like I do now.

I never really liked Fall Out Boy and/or Pete Wentz. So I'm positively surprised that I enjoyed this book so much! It's just really short; I wish it would have been a bit longer. But I love the dreamlike and surreal, nightmarish feeling it has.

Okay, okay, I'll admit it....I only bought this while I had a crush on Pete Wentz. You know, before he was married and a father and all. It's not too bad, but since it's based on a dream or whatever it's really hard to follow.

METAPHORS

Reminds me of his lyrics.
I want to see the illustrations though
I can't afford to buy the book because it's pretty expensive so I read this here:

Enjoy!

This book has no point. It's just feeling, pain, depression, dreams and nightmares. I really love his writting. It's very metarophical like his songs. He's painting details.

The illustration in this book is fantastic, and the meaning is even better. A very quick read but with a beautiful message behind it.

I'm pretty much reading this because I love the Fall Out Boy band, but from the reviews I've read I've heard it has potential to be good.

This is not a long book- and not even that well written, in comparison with many other young adult/juvenile books.
But it is a fun read, with amazing illustrations.
This bok is based on the nightmares Pete Wentz had as a child.

This book is by far one of the best ever written for the sole reason of taking you into someone else's views and thoughts... literally. PLKW3 is a great author.
