Upon her return home, Brooke finds her roommate hanging from a noose in their living room.
When a stranger tells her Sally died instead of her, that there's a vengeful killer gunning for her, Brooke doesn't believe her. Also, Michael has absolutely no proof that what he says is true, but his gut instinct. And that hasn't failed him yet...

Pretty good quickie romance of a woman dealing with mental health issues, coming home to find her roommate hanging in her living room and the detective who comes to investigate a possible serial killer.

This is in no way a "great" piece of literature. However, I've read it every holiday for the past few years and love it! Cheesy, romantic, typical romance quick read. Makes for a few fun evenings getting in the holiday spirit. Book has a hot detective, murder mystery and snowy Colorado setting. Great for a light, pleasant read. I'll pack it up with my holiday decorations and enjoy it again next year. Would definitely recommend if you read books in these series.

Cassie grew up in a small town at the very tip of southern Illinois. A tomboy, she spent most of her time outside and got into big trouble for breaking the trellis while climbing out her second-story bedroom window.

When her family moved to L.A., major culture shock ensued. She discovered that grapefruits grew on trees, television offered more than two channels, and all the other girls had breasts.
