This was a sweet, well put together story. Mars Manchester is a struggling gay actor who is relationship shy. Reed Keeting is Mars' straight? roommate and fellow struggling actor who goes through girlfriends like a tsunami. Mars life and career take off when he lands a job on a soap opera playing a gay man. Mars fears being typecast as a gay role player until Reed gets a part on the show playing opposite Mars. Do their lives imitate their art or vice versa and who really cares in this fun roman

There's way too many internal monologues in this story. Doesn't read like a romance, either. I had a hard time figuring out the tone and direction and though I thought it had a promising storyline, it just wasn't taken advantage of.

A feel good, angst free GFY romance written from a first person POV that was long winded at times but also had its funny moments. The sex scenes were a bit grotesque and had a porno-ish feel to them. The main characters were kinda adorable together which made this an enjoyable read in the end.

Start was interesting but it god fast boring and at the end I just kept red line to the end. Plot could be more, but the way it was written made it boring. Book is nothing special.
