Al Malone was fired from the police department for being a drunk. Inspector Schmidt has not forgiven Al, especially since he thinks Al started to drink for a reason: a guilty conscience. But when Al is murdered, Schmitty starts putting the pieces together to expose the many crimes of a daring murderer.
