My Thought

I came upon this book literally by accident and snapped it up because I liked one of the main protags name (Alarin).. We readers are a funny lot, you never know what will make us read a book.

The book is a mix of futuristic society meeting urban fantasy and I was intrigued by this more than anything else.

This is a Futuristic/SciFi/eroitca book. The premise is interesting and the intrigue is easy enough to follow.

The blurb makes it sound like it is going to be much more of a D/s relationship than it is. I am a sucker for rescue stories and this one definately falls into that category but loses track somewhere. The emotional bond between Alarin and Bryce is strong and the climax is very good but the end just sorta....fades out.

There is no HFN or HEA. I assume there is another book but I am not t More...

Good plot and good storytelling it was a absolutely different from the vampire books i ve read till now i liked it dont believe the general rating, go and read it...
