Excellent anthology with good scholarship on literary periods. Sticks mostly to the mainstream canon, but is much better than previous survey anthologies. For example, it now includes Rosario Ferré and Luis Rafael Sánchez.

I will be using this as a study guide until I take the Master's Exam in August! It's a 600 page STUDY GUIDE!!! Ahhhhh!
SOme interesting stuff, "the classics", used it for a class.
