I want to say up front that the one student who has commented on the textbook said he liked it. He thought the pictures were interesting and that the bold-faced words with definitions in the margins made it clear and easy to use.

I like the concept behind this book, but I think it needed another round of editing. It's very repetitive -- the captions repeat the same text that is printed earlier on the page. There are some mistakes, or at least passages that are unclear. Each chapter starts with a
