Recommends it for: fans of darker romantica

A solid Urban Fiction universe bogged down by gratuitous sex. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for smutty stories and the sex in this one wouldn't have been bad if it had twice as much story around it. There was also some issues with pacing and characterization. Basically,...more
Good story line but it just felt like the author realised there were no sex scenes about half way through and decided to cover this in a number of pages to meet the requirement. So I ended up skipping over a few pages before the story picked up again.
Nothing really wrong with the writing; the book is just utterly predictable.
