Regardless of your opinion of the author and his self-importance, this is a useful document of the period. Despite the swathes of similar comment in book and electronic form, only a few authentic voices ever emerge in a generation and his is likely to be documented. He is not popular because of any particular originality, but because he says things people agree with. When they stop agreeing, he will disappear and this will remain.
