The author built an interesting world where djinn lived in secret among humans and were connected to the elements. I enjoyed the characters even though I thought the story ended too soon. The relationship between Carlin and Zaid felt like it was just getting started and suddenly I was at the end of the story. I wanted to know more about them as a couple and their future.

"The writing is solid and the story is fast paced, exciting and not at all predictable. I liked the different and creative take on the paranormal genre that the author put into the story. Although it ends rather abruptly, overall I enjoyed this story and would be interested in reading any further books set in this world."

An interesting, creative story with a rather abrupt ending. I'm left wondering if there might be a sequel in the works...

Sienna Black is a thirtysomething author living in northern California with her partner and a handful of animals, large and small. She's been writing since she was small, but she's a relative newcomer to the world of m/m fiction. To say that she's thrilled to have found an audience would be an understatement.
She writes primarily paranormal romances for her boys, but there's no telling where they'l
