I had issues with her issues. That pretty much sums up how I feel about this book. The heroine pushes the hero away for almost the entire book based on her Daddy issues. She was mean to him the entire time the hero was trying to save their marriage, she wouldn't trust him or even listen to him. I am not sure what he saw in her or whether she was worth the effort. We spend most of the book in her neurotic brain as she protects herself by being mean to the hero and not thinking too deeply about an ...more

OMG.... Can I have him for Christmas?! d:)

Seriously.... I'd like to find him under my tree. This was a really good story. The H wasn't mean, a bully or your typical tortured soul in need of redemption. Rather, a strong man who loved his wife from the get go and wasn't afraid to tell her. He understood the h and her insecurities and was willing to "love her" through them and in spite of them. I loved the way he set out to "woo" her in order to get her back. Read this story and you'll want a Jay C

Miriam doesn't believe in the power of the love her husband, Jay has for her. The mistaken belief he is cheating on her nearly destroys the newly married couple. After a long separation, Jay is finally able to get thru to Miriam that she needs to change her outlook on life and love and to give them a chance.

A sweet story.

First , i would like to say that the plot is more based on reality than fiction.

After she catches him with his secretary ( bad timing+ circumstances) she flees. The actual story starts 10 months after. She wants divorce. He agrees with a divorce if she will date him until Christmas.

In their relationsship Jay was the mature one. Both of them have flaws , but Miriam's issues are 90% of the time the problem, but that i didn't mind that much, but she was most of the time controlled by Jay.It was always

skimmed the last chapter. marriage on the rocks stories are usually a no-go for me, so the fact that I read most of this means it was a decent book. h's issues were a bit annoying by end.

I loved it, Miriam was a wonderful character, you could see the demons she was struggling with, and Jay the husband at first I thought he was arrogant and a liar but as the story progressed I truely changed my opinion of him.
