Found this in a $1 per book non-profit fund raising table at my local supermarket. A first edition hardcover about a dog fighing in world war II, with "Horrie the Wog Dog" for its title, and by Ion Idriess too? Here's your $1!!

It's an interesting, quick read, about a company of Australian soldiers who find a stray dog while fighting in the North African campaign. They manage to hold onto the dog through campaigns in Greece, Crete, and the Middle East. Interesting insight into the Greek campaign,
