When I talk about middle grade I often describe it as needing "that magical childhood quality". What do I mean by that, exactly? I mean that a book written for middle-grade children with middle-grade aged characters is only going to capture my attention if it has the special intangible quality to it that makes its characters just... well, if it is intangible I cannot really define it properly, can I? These sorts of books just need that quality to capture my attention but I didn't expect
Really bad. Don't bother reading it. Extremely wannabe. Seriously? Did a five year old write this? It certainly seems like it.

'Flitterwig' by Edrei Cullen is a book that brings back your imagination and gives you thoughts of joy and happiness. My 12yo daughter and I bought this because we loved the cover. However... it's like this book is 95% aimed at children, but then 5% is a bit disturbing... a boy being possessed by an evil magical dude. We didn't enjoy it.

Not bad for a kids story...loved the pixie...
A cute book I read in my earlier years. I remember I enjoyed this as I read little to none fantasy books back then, so it was a refreshing change. I wouldn't recommend reading this if you're 12+ though.
I really liked how this book was all about elves and magical creatures. It was a bit of a change reading something like that!
THis is about a mystical girl half fairy. It is really enjoyable and interesting
I din't like this book because it is childish and I do not enjoy books like this any more
Loved this book when I read it, but definitely for a younger audience.
