This is my review on places I ate while I was on holiday. The first place we stopped to eat was in the Magic Kingdom at 'Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe' Just had a burger and fries. It was nothing special and I don't think I'd eat there again if I could help it. We were staying at Disney's Pop Century resort which meant that most days we ate in 'Everything Pop' food court. They really have some yummy breakfast here! The French toast with meat is amazing. I also tried the waffles with cream and the hot cinnemon roll. All very nice. I also enjoy drinking the Mickey Milk here but thats mostly to do with packaging! I also had the meatball sub here. I would recommend it.
At Hollywood Studios we stopped for lunch at Pizza Planet. Had some Pizza and salad. The pizza was pretty good but I wasn't to keen on the dressing they put on the salad. Never made it to Sci-fi-dine-in as had a really bad headache that day and had to go back to the hotel :( maybe next time. Our fave meal of the whole trip was Teppan Edo. You sit around a grill and the chef cooks in front of you in an entertaining way. Not only was it really fun. It was also the best steak I have ever tasted. I will go back here on my next trip! It was also the food and wine festival at Epcot so I wondered around trying food from the booths. It was all very tasty.
Because last time we went we had enjoyed Downtown Disney's 'Rainforest Cafe' so much, we wanted to go again. But we tried the Animal Kingdom one this time. I think your enjoyment of here depends on where you are seated. Last time we were by the beautiful first tank. This time we were next to the noisy Monkeys. I wasn't that hungry so I just had the pasta which was okay. I think I will try somewhere different on the next trip. I also managed to pop into the Magic Kingdom's 'Main Street Bakery' and selected a Ghost Cupcake which was cute. I had also been hearing loads about the Pineapple Float so I just had to try one. They can be found at 'Aloha Isle' I did like it but it was way to much for me and I ended up wasteing most of it. Overall I did eat lots of good food at Disney. I can't wait to go again :) This book is very helpful in the Disney planning process! (less)

Birnbaum's Walt Disney World Dining Guide 2011 is a "pocket sized" book that includes virtually every possible bar, lounge, snack counter, quick service and table service restaurant in Walt Disney World. They are organized by park and WDW resort, and also in alphabetical order.
If you haven't been to Disney a bazillion and one times like I some people have, and you're not too familiar with either, there are lists of places to eat by category in the back of the book.

If you haven't been to Disney a bazillion and one times like I some people have, and you're not too familiar with either, there are lists of places to eat by category in the back of the book.
So if you're looking for Italian food for example, it will list all the places that serve Italian food in all of Disney World and then when you find the one you want, it tells you where it's located and you can look it up in the book for more details.

The descriptions of the restaurants include a little bit about the decor, the atmosphere, and some of the menu items. It also gives a price range for each one.

This guide tells you what the Disney Dining Plan is and it goes into detail about the Basic Dining Plan but it doesn't really go into the other options (such as Premium or Platinum) which is kind of silly since this is supposed to be a book all about dining options.

It includes some fun facts, (i.e; You will not find any alcoholic beverages anywhere in the Magic Kingdom. It is a 'dry kingdom.'), helpful hints such as the best times to grab a meal without too much of a wait, and in the back are seven of Walt Disney World's most requested recipes.

If you are a newbie to the whole Disney Dining experience, this book might be a great place to start your research. If you are a diehard Disney nut, this can still be a fun read to re-acquaint yourself with old favorites and get ideas for new places to eat, but you might get a little annoyed with how details are kind of glossed over and not explained in great detail. I know when I was reading about a few of my favorite places, I kept thinking to myself, "But they didn't mention _______". or "That's ALL they had to say about _______? What about the ____________?!?!" And things like that. (less)
