Chris Gordon was alright. Captain Stacy's death was played out poorly. It just happened and that was it. The aftermath where NY hates Spider-Man seems to be commonplace at this point, so I didn't really see Stacy's death playing any bigger a role in that than usual. The Death Of Captain Stacey pocketbook collects The Amazing Spider-Man issues 86-93 that were originally published in 1970 and 1971.
The plot of this collection is surprisingly interconnected, fun, interesting and just the right amount of naive.
