Wonderful read, the story started off with a snow storm and from there it developed really well, adored Gunnar-Colleen a lot specially Colleen's ideas and things she did to make Vanessa leave, loved the way Colleen stayed and was determined to win Gunnar's love,Colleen asks Gunnar to let her know what happened so that she can let go and he tells her what really happened & after so much pains-anger and hurt they finally get their much deserved HEA.The epilogue was cute

Overall a very good read
3-1/2 stars. This was well written and moved right along. I loved the premise of the much younger heroine in love with her brother's best friend. That part of the story worked well. I think the thing that brought it down for me was the element about his past and his feud with his father and stepmother. There were too many ideas crammed into the book. There was too much going on and it took away from the more interesting elements of the story for me. Still it was a good read.
this is my second book from this author and it was a great read, just like the first one.

i noticed a few things, girl is always younger than the guy :P ... and the covers are awful :(

don't judge a book by a cover, i know but you all must admit that the cover is what draws you to the book, then you read the short version AND then you decide is this book for you or not. well, this was a book for me :D
ending was slightly rushed
