As one of my professional review books, this one excited me simply because it was a sports book. I love sports and this was a great opportunity for me. If you're not a sports fan this book probably won't be as excellent to you, but it's still excellent in the sense of being a beautiful memoir.

When you think American sports, you automatically think baseball. As much a part of American History as the civil war, the Declaration of Independence or The Boston Tea Party, baseball will always be known...more
