Cute, simple book that teaches animals are here for themselves, not for eating- and acceptance of vegetarians. Goes into farming practices, but very simply and those points are not illustrated for the younger crowd. Also includes a "neat" loaf recipe.

Wonderful book for my son to read on those days where he feels different for being a Vegetarian. I love how the book teaches but does not preach. I also love that they include the recipe for Benji's moms Neat Loaf. I still need to make it.

This is a cute little picture book that would be especially nice to share with a vegetarian child who is being singled out by his/her peers. The ending isn’t very realistic, but the author’s heart is in the right place.
