I realize that this is not an actual book, but I practically read the whole thing, so I might as well review it right?
Today, I took the exam to that means that last night I was pouring over this thing like it was my saviour and it was going to rescue me from the bloody and lethal horrors of the AP test. I bet you can guess that this is my first AP exam....well it is and it doesn't make it any better that my World History class isn't AP (Mr. Staples the World History teacher encourage...more

Can I even begin to tell you how AWESOME this book was? I had a really good teacher this year, but the textbook was incredibly dry and the only book I've ever fallen asleep on because I was bored, rather than I was tired. And I was freaking out about the exam.
So I got this.
And loved it.
While still freaking out, it was one of the few times history actually held at least some interest to me. It did a marvelous job of grouping and explaining, and it had a sense of humor too. It spoke...more

This book has everything you need. However this book is very boring. There isn't different kinds of color in here and no drawing or graphs. It's really hard to navigate the book. The key terms are mixed up in the book. There isn't a whole lot of practice questions in the book.
The best part about the book is the practice tests in the back of it. The key gives you the question, the answer, and reason why this answer is correct, and the others aren't. I would take these practice tests j...more

Okay, I was pretty sure I was going to fail the AP exam yesterday, but thanks to this book, I might have gotten a 2 instead of a 1 (which is still a fail, but hey... I only had it for a week.)
Everyone should study this book instead of the textbook. It's so much easier to understand, and it's not nearly as wordy.

I learned nothing from this book; in fact, I never read it! I had my AP World exam today, and I think I got a 4 or 5, so I didn't even need to buy the book :(
This book was really helpful; it deserves some credit for helping me score a five! :)
jk, I'll never read this. Especially since I gave it to my teacher for extra credit points. ( :
Funny and informational, though a little brief.
The Princeton Review are quite talented in that they can transform a mundane topic into something mildly amusing.
(THANK GOD I AM DONE WITH IT)

Wow what a read. How about reading the actual AP textbook instead of trying to cut corners? The practice tests are ok but you can practice on line for free
this book didn't really help to much-
but it helped more than the class did (even though Mr.Mhyre was and is an amazing teacher- I learn better from reading).

woohoo the test is overr.
I didn't really appreciate this book. it was to vague and didn't offer many connections. Thank God for Mr.Bill's study sessions!

Somehow I managed to read all the review chapters and take the two multiple-choice practice tests.
