Researched as the wall was starting to crumble, and published after everything went poof in the night, this book has a unique insight into the places and people most affected by the coming change. Anton writes of all the Eastern European coutries he visited, and he visited them all! He seems to know some words in all the languages. It was his chilling protrayl of Romania that got to me. Eastern Europe is one of the places I still want to explore, so I was very interested.
