Nous voici au dernier volume de la saga. Le début contient un interlude pour Geralt qui n'est pas très pertinent pour l'histoire. Mais pendant ce temps Ciri voyage dans le temps et l'espace et apprend certain des secrets des elfes.
La centre du livre est compris d'une grande bataille bien décrite dans sa férocité par le point de vue des gens qui essaient de soigner les nombreux blessés et mourant. Mais le plus important est que l'auteur ne manque pas la confrontation finale au château More...

At last, the second part of La Dama del Lago (pani jeziora). Excellent, amazing, I have no words. Reading Sapkowski is one of the best things everyone can do. Funny thing is I was moved to look for his works after playing The Witcher game. It was so rich, so full in content that, when i realized it was based on Sapkowski's book series I had to stop the game, look for the books, read all them like crazy and after that could resume my gaming (even though it wasn't necesary at all). "Die Dame vom See" (The Lady of the Lake) is the final novel of Sapkowski's "Witcher" saga about the Witcher Geralt.
While these novels are already a few years old in the Polish original, they have not been translated into English yet, except the short stories (The Last Wish) and the first novel of this series, "Blood of Elves". The German translation is already finished with this final novel.

No i skończyła się saga o Wiedźminie. Śmieszna sprawa, że w ostatnim tomie Geralt pojawia się prawie w ogóle. W ogóle jest mocno słabiej - troszkę jakby autor nie miał pomysłu co dalej. No bo jest wrzucanie na siłę arturiańskiego mitu, są jakieś wymyślone na patyku cuda o oneiromancji (nie wiadomo po co i na co to). Do tego moment kulminacyjny, czyli spotkanie Geralta, Yennefer i Ciri to po prostu tragedia i drewno.

For the past months I've been reading almost only fantasy books, starting with George R. R. Martin's Song of Ice and Fire, rereading LOTR, 'chilling' with Trudi Canavan. But it's 'cos of Sapkowski I redefined fantasy. The series is wise, intelligent and at the same time it's funny and light (in writing style). It shows that fantasy doesn't have to be pompous. And Sapkowski's writing style is pure genius!!!

The last book of the Geralt series, which I definitely have to reread later to catch the whole storyline again. Unfortunately this one wasn't as great as the others, probably because of all the hopping between times and characters in really short paragraphs. Readers not so familiar with the characters and world could be lost easily.
