I had to force myself to finish listening to this audiobook. Not only is it full of religious bullshit, but the author turns his southern accent on and off randomly. When it's turned on, he sounds like a con-man televangelist.

The best thing I got from this book was in chapter 4. "If achieving your goals makes you feel like you're climbing uphill, then I want you to visualize a negation metaphor of skiing downhill and letting gravity carry you." "...imagine yourself in a sailboat letting the win

I checked this out because I had seen it so many times at the library I thought what the heck. There were a few good reminders, but that was about it.

This book is total garbage best suited for use as toilet paper or kindling. It took an immense amount of motivation just to reach chapter 5 in a failed attempt to glean something of value from this book. At that point I couldn’t take the BS any longer. Todd Beeler should be ashamed of himself for making this book exist. I could write a better book by putting two covers on the ground, squatting over them, and dropping a steaming load between them. The only thing it motivated me to do was to leave ...more

I once watched a funny comedy movie called the "The Love Guru" about a guy basically trying to become the next 'Deepak Chopra' and in it there's a funny line where someone refers to him as the ...*poor mans Deepak Chopra*

... Well unfortunately for Todd Beeler with this book... I can't help refer to him as the *poor mans Tony Robbins*

If that doesn't make sense watch the movie ( pretty good and worth while comedy to watch anyway ) and you'll be enlightened

It had some pretty good ideas. I listened to it. I found it fascinating that one point he brought up to be more motivated in your life is to 1- give a percentage of your earning to a cause you believe in. and 2 - give three hours a week of your time to serve others. Interesting..... The one thing I did not like was the author read the book and he got really annoying at times. Brutal to listen to at times.

Some good information but the delivery had many questions asked so quickly with too few or no story examples to allow a moment to reflect. That time is important with an audio book. I had to stop and rewind too often finally just stopped and listened to it without taking any breaks. I know I missed some good material by choosing to get through the book that way.

So, so, so badly in need of an editor. Not worth any second of your life.
A couple of things to think about--nothing earth-shattering...
