I read the nonfiction book Going to the Hospital by Fred Rogers. The book begins with a note from Mr. Rogers to parents/guardians where he explains the purpose of the book and how it is important to inform children about going to the hospital and to try and not be scared. The book continues talking about how you may get sick, but sometimes you are too sick to get well at home and you have to go into the hospital. Fred McFeely Rogers was an American educator, minister, songwriter, and television host. Rogers was the host of the television show Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, in production from 1968 to 2001. Rogers was also an ordained Presbyterian minister.
