JC was on to something. She sculpts the un PC hero to perfection. I love vintage HP finds and JC is a treasure. I enjoyed the jealous rages, the battle of wills, the stolen kisses, and the ridiculousness of the plot. I didn't mind if the plot started having aliens take over the earth, but I couldn't pull myself away from Rory and Sonia's chemistry. When chemistry happens it becomes magical.
i liked it bcoz the hero did all the pursuing! else, it was a total flop. i felt no connection on sonia's part. she did not fall in love at any point, was indifferent and annoyed most of the time! rory did not even get to mix wid her a lot as she did her best to avoid him. he was obviously totally besotted wid her but the feeling, was not mutual.
