In my view, this book has been the best so far among those of the second tier of the Horrorland series. The characters have a genuine feel about them and the action is unexpected, creating twists in the plot that really have the potential to surprise the reader.

As Sam and his friend Lexi hit on the perfect way to convince Sam's parents that he is responsible enough to own a pet, the dark side of the souvenirs that the two friends bought at the Horrorland theme park begins to emerge. A blunder

I know it might be silly to include Goosebumps in my challenge but it's been awhile since I've read them! It just hit me today that I should had added a Fear Street title too, oh well, there's always next year! Can I just say how crazy that cover looks? I have a confession, I'm a complete and total hamster lover. I've raised hamsters my whole life. And it was weird, as I was reading this book, I would often catch my hamster staring at me while I read (I read at night so he would be awake bathing ...more

THIS IS AWESOME BECAUSE THIS IS A SIMPLE STORY IN WHICH NOTHING HAPPENS SO HORRORLY. IN THIS A KID, I DON'T REMEMBER HIS NAME WISHES TO KEEP A PET WHICH WAS ALWAYS IGNORED BY HIS PARENTS AND THEY ALWAYS TOLD THAT HE WAS IRRESPONSIBLE TO KEEP THEM.
SO FOR HAVING A PET, HE HAS TO PROVE THAT HE WAS RESPONSIBLE AND HE TAKE A PART-TIME JOB IN A HAMSTERS' SHOP.
SOON HE FINDS THAT THE OWNER WANTS THE HAMSTERS TO PLAY FOR A HAMSTER'S FIGHT AND HE GIVES HIM A WATER-LIKE SUBSTANCE WHICH MADE THEM GO CRAZY A

I picked this up on a whim. I was really into R.L Stine when I was younger. He inspired me to check out all different kinds of mystery novels. I never read any of the horrorland series so I thought I would give it a try. It was really funny, the ending was so silly.

There were cute cuddly hamsters and savage hamsters! And I also have a hamster. That's why i liked it because i have a hamster too.
