Willard's usual rich and spell binding type of story. The moon is a bit pouty and wants nightgown of her own. McPhail's illustrations are glorious.
Very cute little story:)
This is one of my favorite books of all time. I know it's a kids book, but I still love it. My grandfather's company published it. It's about a moon who is looking for just the right nightgown. It also has beautiful illustrations.
This fantastic story made me take comfort in the moon. And nightgowns. By far, my favorite children's book.

I love this book! It endeerd me even more inyo my moon namesake. A very pretty book and good for kids
