I absolutely love this book. I read it twice when my best friend originally lent it to me a couple of years ago and was super excited when I found it at the most recent Lifeline Bookfair.

The Inner Gentleman is my favourite romance novel because it ticks all my boxes. Humourous, British (well, mostly set in Britain) and featuring a protagonist who is over 30 (30 exactly in this case, but it still passes).
