Raised With Christ
Adrian Warnock, author of Raised With Christ, is a popular evangelical blogger, physician, and preacher. He lives in London, and declares that he is a couple of years less than forty :-)
Having enjoyed Warnock's blog, I felt sure that I would enjoy his book. Little did I know that treat that I was in for. Not only does he quote from Piper, MacArthur, and J.I. Packer, but the ghosts of the apostles, Puritans, Jonathan Edwards, and especially that of Lloyd-Jones wal More...

This book deserves every one of 9 stars. It is a little slow starting up, dealing mostly with apologetic and theological implications of Jesus' resurrection, but around page 100 it becomes much more applicational and you won't want to put it down. There are not many books on the nature of the resurrection of Christ and the effects this has in the daily life of the believer, but Adrian has filled that void with a book that is sure to last centuries to come. He starts every chapter off with a s

My full review can be read at Blogging Theologically:
“Christianity hinges not only on the empty cross but also on an empty tomb,” writes Adrian Warnock in Raised with Christ: How the Resurrection Changes Everything (p. 29). Starts out a little bit slow, but it's well worth sticking it out! He spends several chapters outlining the evidence for the resurrection, which can be a bit dry, especially if you're already somewhat familiar with it. Still, it's necessary to set the stage. After that, the real meat of the book begins. It's a fantastic treatment of the resurrection and it's importance right now in the life of every believer. Highly recommended!

Worth reading. This is the first book from the hand of Adrian Warnock and the first book i´ve ever read on the topic of the resurrection. Well written, informative and helpful.
The only BUT the i would give to this book is that it has excessive quotes from John Piper and quite a lot from Martin Lloyd Jones. It is not that i don´t like the guys, in fact i love them both, but without making too much out of it, at least 15-20% of the entire book is credited to Piper and Lloyd Jones.

I was so encouraged by this book! Warnock's thoughts and admonitions on the resurrection of Christ are stirring to say the least. The church will be greatly strengthened by the truths in this book.
